About Us
Walkers Cars are a growing company within the Tunbridge Wells area having enjoyed a steady increase in both clients and drivers over the last two years and are now developing the business to provide the best possible service level to all customers. Providing the highest level of customer service and satisfaction is our aim and we operate a number of key initiatives in order for us to achieve this.
- Our office, based in Tunbridge Wells, is staffed by employees who have a detailed knowledge of Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area and are trained to the highest standards. Therefore you can have confidence that when you contact us the person dealing with your enquiry will have the experience to deal with your needs.
- Our drivers like our office staff are again local to Tunbridge Wells and therefore have increased local knowledge of the area along with extensive out of town knowledge to provide our clients with an efficient service. All drivers who work for Walkers Cars are licensed by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and as such are required to undertake a medical and local knowledge test. Furthermore all our drivers undertake an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Check every three years so you can be safe in the knowledge that your driver has been fully vetted.
- All of our vehicles are again licensed with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and are subject to six monthly “MOT” tests as dictated by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council. Our office based staff also undertake periodic inspections of our vehicles, including “spot checks” to ensure the cleanliness of our vehicles remain to the highest standard
- Our offices are equipped with the latest computerised booking and despatch software and our vehicles are fitted with “GPS” units. Therefore our office staff are able to view the location of your allocated vehicle at all times.
- We offer a 24 hour a day service for all vehicle types and are able to accept bookings by e-mail and fax and confirm all bookings made in this way.
